Testimonials

We have eaten at the sister restaurant, The Waterside, many times, but this was our first meal at this new pub/restaurant. We live locally and like to try out new eateries. We went for an evening meal and sat in the bar at a window table overlooking Ormesby Broad....lovely view and wonderful food! Two of us had 'pulled pork' in a sourdough roll with sweet potato chips - all delicious. Our friend had seabass which was lovely. We couldn't resist a dessert as the mains were so good, so two white chocolate brownies and one pannacotta later... again delicious! The staff were friendly and the service was good. We have already re-booked and will recommend to all our friends. Well done on your new venture and thanks for creating such lovely places to eat in our local area.

Visited twice in the first week of opening. Firstly just for a drink as the setting beside the beautiful Ormesby Broad is simply fantastic. A large lawned area with benches - great to sit on and take in the spectacular views. The in-house ales were well kept, a personal preference was was the "Eels Foot" ale. The interior has been decorated to a high standard and has lots of different areas to choose from. The family came along on the second visit and we ate in the bar area. The children firstly had a play on the new playground which is great with lots of play equipment. Great pub in a great location and worth a try.
